The Kabaka Birthday run – an annual event celebrated to mark the King’s birthday – is part of a partnership that Airtel Uganda has with the Buganda Kingdom.

Airtel Uganda is our Platinum sponsor and with their support we are able to organize these key Buganda Kingdom activities; The Kabaka Birthday Run, The Kabaka birthday celebration, The Kabaka’s Annual Coronation, The Masaza Cup which is the Kingdom’s Football Tournament.

UNAIDS 

The Kingdom of Buganda through Majestic Brands Limited is in partnership with UNAIDS to sponsor the Kabaka Birthday run. Through their sponsorship His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II was appointed as the as the UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for engaging men on HIV prevention in the Eastern and Southern Region of Uganda. His role among others includes sharing information that engages men and boys to the cause of ending HIV/AIDS in Uganda. 

UNAIDS is also key in ensuring fireplaces and information sharing is done with the different counties of Buganda with an aim of eradicating HIV/AIDS

Majestic Brands Limited granted permission to Ondaba to use the Buganda Kingdom design elements (The Buganda Royal Seal and the name KABAKA) on selected products.
